I was born and raised near the United States- Mexico border, and have lived in border states along the southwest as well as in Florida, Arkansas and Guam. This has given me a wide outlook into many different cultures, and this is reflected in my photographs.

My emphasis is documentary work. I have always been intensely interested in photographing life- the moments that need to be recorded that last over time.

Most recently, I have worked to aid the pet overpopulation problem by documenting the terribly lonely and frightened experience of the animals in animal shelters. Please visit my "Bred to Death" gallery on this site. The full project is currently seeking funding. Please read the proposal.
